Creates section 985.6885 of Florida Statutes establishing authorized visitors to juvenile facilities operated or overseen by the Department of Juvenile Justice or a county

Authorizes the Governor, Cabinet members, state legislators, state court judges, state attorneys, public defenders, and persons authorized by the department secretary to visit facilities between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. at their pleasure

Allows authorized persons to visit facilities before 6 a.m. or after 11 p.m. pursuant to department rules

Prohibits the department from unreasonably withholding permission for visits by bona fide reporters or writers who provide sufficient evidence of their status

Requires the department to adopt implementing rules and takes effect July 1, 2018
