Creates section 760.105, Florida Statutes, prohibiting employers from inquiring into or considering an applicant's criminal history on initial employment applications unless required by law.

Allows employers to inquire into or consider an applicant's criminal history only after the applicant's qualifications have been screened and the employer has determined the applicant meets minimum employment requirements for the position.

Effective date is July 1, 2018.
