Creates section 944.8025, Florida Statutes, establishing a registration system for nonprofit organizations to provide inmate reentry services including counseling, housing information, job placement, and money management assistance.

Requires the Department of Corrections to develop screening policies and procedures for approving nonprofit organizations and their representatives, with authority to deny registration if applicants fail to meet screening guidelines.

Authorizes the Department of Corrections and all correctional facilities to retain discretion to deny entry to registered organization representatives at any time, regardless of prior approval status.

Prohibits the department from endorsing or sponsoring faith-based reentry programs, endorsing specific religious messages, or requiring inmate participation in faith-based programs.

Requires the department to post a telephone number and registration application on its public website for interested organizations to obtain information and begin the application process; effective October 1, 2018.
