Redefines "critical infrastructure facility" in Florida's Unmanned Aircraft Systems Act to include state and private correctional institutions, secure detention centers, and county detention facilities, requiring these to be fenced or clearly marked with no trespassing signs.

Authorizes law enforcement agencies to use drones when they possess reasonable suspicion that swift action is needed to collect evidence at crime scenes or traffic crash scenes, or to prevent imminent danger to life or serious property damage.

Permits local and state agencies to use drones for assessing damage from floods, wildfires, and natural disasters, evaluating land management, and monitoring and collecting scientific or marketing data.

Takes effect October 1, 2018.
