Amends section 120.525 of Florida Statutes to add new quorum requirements for regional agencies and regional planning councils covering three or more counties

Allows voting members appearing via telephone, real-time videoconferencing, or similar electronic communication to count toward quorum if at least one-third of voting members are physically present at the meeting location

Requires the electronic communication to be broadcast publicly at the meeting location

Members must provide oral, written, or electronic notice of intent to appear remotely at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting

Effective date is July 1, 2018
