Increases the initial term of office for judges of compensation claims from 4 years to 6 years.

Establishes annual salary for full-time judges of compensation claims at $10,000 less than circuit court judges.

Sets Deputy Chief Judge of Compensation Claims annual salary at $1,000 more than the salary paid to a judge of compensation claims.

Requires all judge compensation claims salaries to be paid from the Workers' Compensation Administration Trust Fund.

Effective date of July 1, 2018.
