Amends s. 83.806, F.S. to allow advertisement of self-service storage facility lien sales to be published continuously for 14 consecutive days on a public website that customarily conducts personal property auctions, as an alternative to newspaper publication.

Permits lien sales to be conducted on public websites that conduct personal property auctions, with facility or unit owners not required to hold a license to post property for online sale.

Allows a single advertisement to be used for sales involving property from multiple tenants.

Requires advertisements to include a description of the personal property, the facility address and tenant name, and the time, place, and manner of sale, with the sale occurring at least 15 days after first publication.

Deletes the requirement for posting advertisements in at least three conspicuous neighborhood locations when no newspaper of general circulation exists in the area.

Effective date: July 1, 2018.
