Amends Florida Statutes section 119.071 to create a public records exemption for information relating to the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network (47 U.S.C. § 1401 et seq.) held by state agencies.

Exempts information about network design, development, construction, deployment, and operation; network coverage maps and infrastructure locations; network features and capabilities; services and devices provided to first responders; and cybersecurity measures.

Establishes the exemption as temporary, subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and repealing on October 2, 2023, unless the Legislature reviews and reenacts it.

Declares public necessity for the exemption based on security concerns, protection of proprietary business information of communications providers, and prevention of competitive harm in the communications services industry.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
