Amends s. 97.0585, F.S. to make confidential and exempt from public records disclosure the address of legal residence, date of birth, telephone number, and e-mail address of voter registration applicants and voters.

Extends confidentiality protections to preregistered voter registration applicants who are 16 or 17 years of age for the same personal information categories.

Authorizes disclosure of protected personal information only to the individual, canvassing boards, election officials, political parties, candidates with filed qualification papers, elected officials, and registered political committees for political purposes only.

Makes voter registration signatures exempt from public records copying requirements.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and provides for automatic repeal on October 2, 2023, unless reenacted by the Legislature; effective date is July 1, 2018.
