Requires local laws, ordinances, or regulations regarding vacation rentals to apply uniformly to all residential properties and prohibits local governments from banning vacation rentals or regulating rental duration or frequency (except for regulations adopted before June 1, 2011)

Mandates that public lodging establishment operators inquire at check-in whether guests are sexual predators and immediately inform all other guests if one is identified

Requires sexual offenders to register with the sheriff's office 48 hours prior to arriving at a vacation rental, regardless of length of stay, and mandates vacation rental owners notify property owners within 1,000 feet of the rental 24 hours before the offender's arrival

Requires all Internet advertisements and online postings of vacation rentals to prominently display the complete physical street address and links to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Sexual Offenders and Predators database, along with notice that sexual offenders and predators are required to register in Florida

Authorizes the Division of Hotels and Restaurants to fine, suspend, or revoke vacation rental licenses for non-compliance with registration requirements
