CS/HB 787 Summary

• Directs the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to develop a Ducks Unlimited license plate and a Dan Marino Campus license plate, each with an annual use fee of $25.

• Ducks Unlimited plate fees distributed to Ducks Unlimited, Inc., with up to 5 percent for administrative costs and marketing, and a minimum of 95 percent used in Florida to conserve and manage wetlands and wildlife habitats.

• Dan Marino Campus plate fees distributed to the Dan Marino Foundation, with up to 10 percent for administrative costs and marketing, and remaining fees used to assist Floridians with developmental disabilities in employment and to fund education scholarships.

• Revises the Lighthouse Association license plate design to display "SaveOurLighthouses.org Visit Our Lights" at the bottom (replacing "Visit Our Lights").

• Effective date is October 1, 2018.
