Requires board members of the Coral Springs Improvement District to be elected by qualified electors of the district, making this the exclusive method for board selection.

First election held in conjunction with November 2018 general election with three seats (seat 1, 2, and 3) elected at large; seats 1 and 2 have 4-year terms while seat 3 has a 2-year term; thereafter all elections held every 2 years for expiring terms.

Candidates must be electors and residents of the district, and must pay qualifying fees consisting of a 3 percent filing fee and 1 percent election assessment of annual salary, or alternatively file a petition signed by at least 1 percent of qualified electors.

Broward County Supervisor of Elections appoints election officials, prepares ballots, designates polling places, and canvasses election results; elections conducted as nonpartisan general elections.

Defines "qualified elector" and "elector" as persons at least 18 years old who are U.S. citizens, permanent Florida residents, and district residents registered with the county supervisor of elections.
