Creates s. 943.0586, F.S., requiring the Criminal Justice Information Program to automatically seal the criminal history records of minors upon notification from the clerk of court.

Applies to arrests or alleged criminal activity where a minor was charged with a felony, misdemeanor, or comparable violation and all charges were declined, dismissed, nolle prosequi, or resulted in acquittal or not guilty verdict.

Requires that all prosecution appeals have been exhausted or the time to file an appeal has expired before records are sealed.

Sealing records under this provision has the same legal effect as sealing under s. 943.059(4).

Takes effect July 1, 2018, contingent on HB 921 or similar legislation becoming law in the same legislative session.
