Short title designated as the "Florida Families First Act"

Department of Health must offer perinatal mental health care information through the Family Health Line toll-free hotline by January 1, 2019, including basic information on postpartum depression and referrals to qualified health care providers

Birth centers must include mental health screening in postpartum evaluations and provide information on postpartum depression with the Family Health Line telephone number to clients

Appropriates $104,320 in recurring funds and $21,600 in nonrecurring funds from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Health for implementation

Effective date is July 1, 2018
