Private and public school prekindergarten providers must provide pre- and post-assessment results to parents within 10 days of assessment administration, including helpful resources for students.

The Office of Early Learning must report, distribute to early learning coalitions and school districts, and display on its website all aggregated pre- and post-assessment results within 30 days of administration.

Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, children who complete a prekindergarten program but are determined to be at risk of not meeting performance standards may reenroll in a school-year program at parental request, limited to one reenrollment.

Reenrolling students must enroll in programs offered by providers that have met the adopted minimum readiness rate and are funded as full-time equivalent students.

The Office of Early Learning must establish by December 1, 2018 the eligibility criteria, procedures for reenrollment, and estimate the potential number of eligible students by county and early learning coalition, with authority to establish good cause exemptions for withdrawals.
