Amends Florida Statutes section 121.091 to revise maximum participation limits in the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) for instructional and administrative personnel in grades K-12.

Allows instructional personnel at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, and K-12 instructional personnel authorized by district superintendents or school directors, to extend DROP participation by up to 36 calendar months beyond the standard 60-month limit, with termination dates aligned to the last day of the school year.

Permits administrative personnel in grades K-12 with DROP termination dates on or after July 1, 2018 to extend participation beyond the initial 60 months until the last day of the school year if their original termination date falls before the end of that school year.

Requires employers to notify the Division of Retirement of the Department of Management Services regarding any changes in termination dates and program participation periods for affected instructional and administrative personnel.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
