Adds a representative of the Florida Sheriffs Association as an eighth appointed member to the Joint Task Force on State Agency Law Enforcement Communications, appointed by the president of the Florida Sheriffs Association.

Requires the sheriff's office that employs the Florida Sheriffs Association representative to pay the per diem and travel expenses incurred by that representative, rather than having costs paid from state agency budgets.

Clarifies that per diem and travel expenses for representatives from state agencies continue to be paid pursuant to s. 112.061, from funds budgeted to the state agency that the member represents.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
