Amends section 456.031 to replace domestic violence training requirement with human trafficking training for licensed professionals in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, psychology, and other regulated professions.

Requires a 2-hour continuing education course on human trafficking as part of every third biennial relicensure or recertification, to be approved by the appropriate licensing board.

Course content must include types of human trafficking (labor and sex), risk factors for victimization, available social services, national hotlines for reporting, assessment tools for identifying victims, and referral options for legal and social services.

Allows licensees to submit course completion confirmation via board-provided form or electronic transmission and permits boards to approve equivalent courses satisfying the requirement.

Individuals holding multiple licenses may complete one approved human trafficking course to satisfy the requirement for all licenses; failure to comply constitutes grounds for disciplinary action.

Effective date: July 1, 2018.
