Repeals section 288.11625, F.S., which previously authorized state funding for sports facility development by local governments or certified beneficiaries on locally-owned property.

Removes requirements for municipalities to reimburse the state under the repealed sports facility funding program from the local government half-cent sales tax.

Deletes subsection 6.f. of section 212.20, which distributed monthly amounts to certified applicants for sports facility development, eliminating ongoing state distributions for professional sports franchises and spring training facilities.

Removes the requirement for a triennial economic analysis of the Sports Development Program, replacing it with deletion of the program evaluation requirement entirely as of January 1, 2018.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
