Abrogates the October 1, 2018 future repeal of section 39.8298, F.S., allowing the Guardian Ad Litem direct-support organization to continue operating indefinitely instead of expiring.

Authorizes the Statewide Guardian Ad Litem Office to create a nonprofit direct-support organization to conduct programs, raise funds, and receive grants and donations to benefit the office.

Requires the direct-support organization to operate under a written contract with the Statewide Guardian Ad Litem Office, including provisions for budget approval, article and bylaws approval, and reversion of assets if the organization ceases.

Establishes that the executive director of the Statewide Guardian Ad Litem Office appoints the board of directors, may authorize use of office property and employee services, and can terminate the organization if it operates inconsistently with office goals or not in the state's best interest.

Prohibits the direct-support organization from providing compensation to state employees serving on the board and requires annual financial audits and equal employment opportunity compliance.
