A reviser's bill making technical, non-substantive corrections throughout Florida Statutes, taking effect on the 60th day after adjournment sine die of the 2018 legislative session

Deletes dozens of obsolete effective dates, deadlines, and transitional language across statutes — including provisions dating as far back as 1943 — that have already been fulfilled or passed, while preserving the underlying ongoing substantive requirements (e.g., annual reporting obligations, licensure mandates, training requirements)

Corrects erroneous cross-references in approximately 15 provisions, including references to repealed statutes (e.g., ss. 944.41–944.43), renumbered subsections (e.g., s. 1001.215(7) updated to (8), s. 1011.62(15) updated to (16)), and misdirected citations in areas such as real estate appraisal board definitions, instructional materials allocations, retail home improvement licensing, and drug permit renewals

Confirms editorial word substitutions and insertions made by the Division of Law Revision, including corrections of "contacting" to "contact," "his or her" to "their," "that" to "who" (for references to children and Armed Services members), and insertion of missing prepositions in statutes governing transportation network companies, medical marijuana, and boiler inspections

Reenacts s. 1001.42(18) concerning district school board powers for school improvement and accountability — including school improvement plans, the K-8 early warning system (triggered when students exhibit two or more indicators such as attendance below 90%, suspensions, or Level 1 assessment scores), and public disclosure requirements — after paragraphs (c) and (d) were inadvertently omitted by ch. 2017-116

Updates the Investment Advisory Council description from "six-member" to "nine-member" to reflect its actual composition, removes obsolete transition language, and deletes completed deadline references from provisions regarding prohibited investments in companies that boycott Israel

Removes references to the repealed Manufacturing and Spaceport Investment Incentive Program (s. 288.1083) from the economic development evaluation schedule, deletes obsolete "primary wholesale distributor" and "secondary wholesale distributor" references from the Drug Wholesale Distributor Advisory Council, and conforms career education provisions to the prior deletion of s. 1003.4156(1)(e)

Corrects the renaming of the "Public Employee Optional Retirement Program Trust Fund" to the "Florida Retirement System Investment Plan Trust Fund" in employment-after-retirement provisions, and restores the word "reports" erroneously stricken from tax deed application procedures by ch. 2017-132

Deletes completed study requirements with January 31, 2017 deadlines from school construction cost provisions while retaining per-student-station cost maximums of $17,952 (elementary), $19,386 (middle), and $25,181 (high school) and the 70% cap on ancillary plant costs

Clarifies and reorganizes public records exemption language for personal information of numerous categories of government personnel — including law enforcement, firefighters, judges, prosecutors, code enforcement officers, and emergency medical personnel — with various sunset dates ranging from October 2, 2019 through October 2, 2022
