Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2018 from section 943.0583, F.S., making the public records exemption for human trafficking victim expunction records permanent.

Maintains confidentiality of criminal history records ordered expunged and retained by the Department of Law Enforcement, exempt from public disclosure requirements.

Permits disclosure of expunged records only to criminal justice agencies for criminal justice purposes, governmental agencies authorized to determine firearm eligibility, and upon court order.

Allows criminal justice agencies to retain a notation indicating compliance with expungement orders.

Takes effect October 1, 2018.
