Creates exemption from public records requirements for the identity of persons reporting unsafe, harmful, dangerous, violent, or criminal activities under the School Safety Awareness Program held by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, law enforcement agencies, or school officials, exempting such information from Florida Statutes s. 119.07(1) and the state constitution.

Exempts portions of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission meetings from public meetings requirements when confidential or exempt information is discussed, allowing the commission to review sensitive investigative materials related to the school shooting and prior mass violence incidents.

Protects the identity of individuals appointed as school marshals from public records disclosure requirements held by law enforcement agencies, school districts, or charter schools to preserve their effectiveness as security deterrents and allow them to carry concealed weapons.

All three exemptions are subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and shall automatically repeal on October 2, 2023, unless the Legislature reviews and reenacts them.

Bill takes effect on the same date as HB 7101 or similar legislation, if adopted in the same legislative session and becomes law.
