Requires Florida public schools to include information about the dangers and signs of human trafficking in comprehensive health education curriculum for grades 7-12

Human trafficking education must cover warning signs, terminology used by traffickers, red flags indicating trafficker intent, websites popular with traffickers, and how students can seek help

Allows students to opt out of the human trafficking portion of health education with written parental consent

Encourages the State Board of Education to adopt standards and assess implementation of these requirements

Effective date: July 1, 2018
