Prohibits employers from inquiring about or considering an applicant's criminal history on initial employment applications, unless required by law to do so.

Allows employers to inquire into or consider an applicant's criminal history only after screening an applicant's qualifications and determining they meet the minimum employment requirements for the position.

Creates section 760.105, Florida Statutes to codify these employment screening restrictions.

Effective date: July 1, 2018.
