Amends Florida Statutes section 559.920 to prohibit motor vehicle repair shops and their employees from offering rebates, gifts, gift cards, cash, coupons, or other things of value to customers in exchange for making insurance claims for windshield glass replacement or repair.

Extends the prohibition to include offers made through non-employees who are compensated for soliciting insurance claims.

Adds this practice as a new unlawful act and practice under motor vehicle repair shop regulations.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
