Abrogates the scheduled October 1, 2018 repeal of section 744.2105, F.S., allowing the direct-support organization for the Office of Public and Professional Guardians to continue operating indefinitely.

Establishes that the direct-support organization must be a not-for-profit corporation operating under written contract with the Office of Public and Professional Guardians to raise funds, receive gifts and grants, and support the office's mission.

Requires annual financial audits, disclosure of contract terms to donors, and prohibition of expenditures for lobbying activities.

Mandates that property and moneys revert to the Office of Public and Professional Guardians upon the organization's dissolution or loss of approval.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
