Amends requirements for residential treatment centers and hospitals providing specialized treatment to commercially sexually exploited children in Department of Children and Families custody

Reduces the mandatory treatment requirements these facilities must meet, eliminating subparagraphs (2)(c)4. and 5. from the list of required services

Allows residential treatment centers and hospitals to prioritize delivery of certain required services based on the specific treatment needs of each child

Maintains requirements that children must be served in single-sex groups and staff must be trained in trauma effects, sexual exploitation, and trauma-informed approaches

Effective date: July 1, 2018
