Authorizes supervisory physicians to delegate authority to physician assistants to sign, certify, stamp, verify, or endorse documents that normally require a physician's signature or certification.

Prohibits delegation of authority to physician assistants to issue written approval for patient release from a receiving facility under s. 394.463(2)(f).

Authorizes advanced registered nurse practitioners to sign, certify, stamp, verify, or endorse documents requiring a physician's signature within the framework of an established protocol and under supervision.

Prohibits supervisory physicians from delegating authority to advanced registered nurse practitioners to issue written approval for patient release from a receiving facility under s. 394.463(2)(f).

Effective date: July 1, 2018.
