Repeals section 366.93, F.S., which established cost recovery mechanisms allowing utilities to recover costs for siting, design, licensing, and construction of nuclear and integrated gasification combined cycle power plants.

Repeals section 366.95, F.S., which provided financing for certain nuclear generating asset retirement or abandonment costs.

Deletes provisions in section 403.519, F.S. that limited challenges to a utility's right to recover pre-commercial operation costs for nuclear and gasification plants, removing protections against cost challenges and imprudence findings.

Effective date is July 1, 2018.
