Repeals section 288.11625, Florida Statutes, which established state funding for sports facility development by local governments and certified beneficiaries on locally-owned property.

Removes sub-subparagraph (f) from section 212.20(6)(d), which authorized monthly distributions of sales tax revenue (up to $7 million in fiscal year 2014-2015 and $13 million annually thereafter) to sports development applicants certified under the repealed program.

Removes language from section 218.64(2) that allowed municipalities to reimburse the state under the sports development program and deletes section 218.64(3)(c) authorizing counties to use up to $3 million annually for such reimbursement.

Eliminates the requirement in section 288.0001(2)(e) for triennial analysis of the Sports Development Program by the Office of Economic and Demographic Research and OPPAGA.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
