Prohibits home warranties sold in Florida from excluding coverage solely due to rust or corrosion unless the rust or corrosion was a contributing cause of the mechanical breakdown or failure of a covered appliance, unit, or system, effective July 1, 2018

Requires home warranties providing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system coverage to cover replacement or modification of any necessary components when replacing a condenser in an air conditioning or heat pump split system to maintain manufacturer compatibility and operating efficiency requirements
