Court must conduct trial for landlord possession actions within 30 days after service of complaint.

Court may order tenant to pay accrued rent into court registry if tenant requests continuance beyond 30 days or requests jury trial.

Court shall schedule immediate trial on possession if tenant fails to comply with court order to pay rent into registry.

Removes requirement that tenants interposing non-payment defenses must pay accrued rent into registry within 5 days or face automatic default judgment.

Removes requirement that court enter default judgment for failure to comply with rent payment procedures in section 83.60(2).
