Revises the definition of "marksense ballots" to include selections made through a voter interface device that designates choices on a physical sheet of paper.

Applies ballot layout requirements (candidate names, constitutional amendments, propositions) to the display shown on voter interface devices rather than only to printed paper ballots.

Expands the definition of "marking device" to include voter interface devices used to mark ballots with ink or other substances for automatic tabulation.

Changes voting method language from "utilizing" to "using" a marking device for designating ballot selections on marksense ballots.

Effective date: July 1, 2018.
