Designates Next Generation Sunshine State Standards as minimum baseline core content standards for K-12 public schools, allowing school districts to adopt equivalent or more rigorous standards.

Requires school district standards to integrate knowledge-based learning, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, reading, writing, mathematics, collaboration, technology literacy, information and media literacy, and in-depth understanding of U.S. founding values and principles.

Mandates that science standards teach controversial theories and concepts in a factual, objective, and balanced manner.

Requires social studies and civics content to strictly adhere to U.S. founding values and principles, and mandates economics courses include instruction on both Keynesian and Hayekian economic theories plus financial literacy topics.

Requires district school superintendents to annually certify that all core course instructional materials align with applicable state standards, including those meeting or exceeding state standards or the International Baccalaureate program.
