Allows social purpose corporations and benefit corporations to omit information from annual benefit reports if that information is required by state or federal law to be kept confidential, provided the report expressly states that information was omitted.

Authorizes banking and trust corporation applicants to modify form articles of incorporation to include provisions necessary to qualify as a social purpose corporation or benefit corporation under parts II or III of chapter 607.

Extends the provisions of parts II and III of chapter 607 (Social Purpose Corporations and Benefit Corporations) to state banks and trust companies when applicable.

Applies the same provisions to capital changes and special stock offering plans for banks and trust companies that are attempting to achieve status as social purpose or benefit corporations.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
