Defines "computer science" as the study of computers and algorithmic processes, including principles, hardware and software designs, applications, and their impact on society, encompassing coding and programming.

Requires public schools to provide computer science instruction in grades K-12, with mandatory computer science courses integrated into all middle and high schools by July 1, 2018, to be identified in the Course Code Directory.

Mandates Florida Virtual School offer all identified computer science courses, and requires school districts to provide student access to these courses through Florida Virtual School or other means if not offered locally.

Establishes $1,000 annual bonuses (up to 3 years) for effective or highly effective teachers with computer science educator certificates, and $500 annual bonuses (up to 3 years) for those with industry certifications in computer science courses.

Allows high school students to satisfy up to one mathematics or one science graduation requirement through computer science courses and related industry certifications (except Algebra I or Biology I).

Requires the State Board of Education to adopt rules administering computer science instruction, and authorizes funding for school districts to provide teacher professional development and examination fees for computer science credentials.
