Requires counties and municipalities to post their permit and inspection fee schedules and building permit and inspection utilization reports on their websites.

Mandates local governments to post building permit and inspection utilization reports by December 31, 2019, based on the most recently completed financial audit.

Requires reports to include direct and indirect costs of enforcing the Florida Building Code, number of permits issued and inspections conducted, personnel counts and salary costs, and revenue from fees, fines, and investment earnings.

Requires local governments to update utilization reports on their websites prior to making any adjustments to fee schedules.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
