Adds Lupus to the list of health conditions addressed by the Closing the Gap grant program, requiring proposals to include decreasing racial and ethnic disparities in morbidity and mortality rates relating to Lupus as a priority area.

Makes Lupus the ninth priority area for grant proposals, with neighborhood social determinants of health (transportation, safety, food access) becoming the tenth priority area.

Applies to all Closing the Gap grant proposals under section 381.7355, Florida Statutes, which must identify and address specific racial or ethnic health disparities.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
