Redefines "permanent residence," "temporary residence," and "transient residence" for sexual predators and offenders from 5 or more days to 3 or more days, triggering registration requirements sooner

Establishes mandatory minimum community control with electronic monitoring for felony registration violations when no prison sentence is imposed: 6 months for first offense, 1 year for second offense, and 2 years for third or subsequent offenses

Applies the new sentencing requirements to both sexual predators under s. 775.21 and sexual offenders under s. 943.0435 for violations committed on or after July 1, 2018

Maintains existing third-degree felony penalties for registration violations including failure to register, provide required information, respond to address verification, or comply with other statutory requirements

Reenacts related statutes to incorporate the amended residence definitions across sexual offender notification and juvenile sexual offender provisions
