Adds a representative of the Florida Sheriffs Association as a new appointed member to the Joint Task Force on State Agency Law Enforcement Communications, appointed by the president of the Florida Sheriffs Association.

Requires the sheriff's office that employs the Florida Sheriffs Association representative to pay the per diem and travel expenses for that representative, rather than having those costs covered by state agency funds.

Clarifies that per diem and travel expenses for state agency representatives continue to be paid by their respective state agencies pursuant to section 112.061.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
