Repeals s. 790.335 and s. 790.336, F.S., which prohibited firearm registration and required destruction of existing firearm registries.

Amends s. 790.0625 to make tax collectors who maintain lists of concealed weapon or firearm license applicants subject to felony of the third degree penalties under s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

Removes references to s. 790.335 from child-placing agency licensure requirements in s. 409.175, changing compliance language from multiple sections to a single section (s. 63.0422).

Effective date of July 1, 2018.
