Requires the Correctional Education Program under the Department of Corrections to ensure inmates who complete examinations and training requirements for professions regulated by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation receive licensure credit or the license if all requirements are met.

Directs the Department of Corrections to develop a plan providing classes and work programs that enable inmates to prepare for and complete professional licensure examinations.

Requires the plan to include training related to licensed professions that inmates can complete while incarcerated.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
