Department of Veterans' Affairs shall contract with organizations to provide alternative treatment options for veterans with traumatic brain injury or posttraumatic stress disorder, with alternative treatment defined as therapeutic services supported by peer-reviewed studies and supervised by licensed healthcare professionals.

Supreme Court of Florida may admit as attorneys spouses of servicemembers stationed in Florida on motion if they hold a Juris Doctor, are licensed in another jurisdiction, and meet other admission requirements.

Department of Education shall expedite processing of educator certification applications for servicemember spouses to 60 calendar days instead of 90 days, and State Board of Education shall adopt rules allowing extension of temporary teaching certificates for such spouses.

State Board of Education and Board of Governors of State University System shall collaborate to align degree programs with military training, appoint veteran liaisons, enhance disability services for veterans, facilitate statewide meetings on veteran student services, and provide priority registration for veterans.

Effective date July 1, 2018.
