Requires each charter school principal, chief financial officer, or equivalent position to hold a valid certification from a third-party credentialing organization recognized under s. 402.40 at least 30 days before the school opens or before the employee's first day of employment, whichever comes first.

Mandates that the credentialing organization certify the individual's core competence in charter school administration, including business planning, financial planning and accounting, state and federal grant requirements, student performance accountability, identification and application for funding sources, and governance matters including government in the sunshine and ethics.

Specifies that individuals certified under this requirement meet the training requirements under s. 1002.33(6)(f), (9)(j)4., and (12)(g)3.

Updates a cross-reference in s. 1012.32(2)(b) from s. 1002.33(12)(g) to s. 1002.33(12)(h) to reflect the redesignation of paragraphs in the charter school employees section.
