Exempts the identity of individuals reporting suspicious activity through the mobile suspicious activity reporting tool held by the Department of Law Enforcement, law enforcement agencies, or school officials from public records requirements, effective through October 2, 2023.

Exempts all other information received through the mobile suspicious activity reporting tool (beyond reporter identity) from public records disclosure requirements to encourage reporting and protect sensitive personal information.

Allows the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission to close portions of meetings where exempt or confidential information is discussed, exempting those portions from public meetings requirements through October 2, 2023.

Exempts information identifying whether a particular individual has been appointed as a safe-school officer from public records requirements to protect officer security and effectiveness, repealing October 2, 2023 unless reenacted.

All exemptions are subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and will automatically repeal on October 2, 2023 unless the Legislature reviews and reenacts them.
