Removes the scheduled October 2, 2018 repeal date for public records exemptions protecting petitioner personal identifying and location information related to domestic violence, repeat violence, sexual violence, and dating violence injunctions.

Makes permanent the exemption from public records requirements for petitioner home or employment telephone numbers, cellular phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, and other electronic identification held by court clerks and law enforcement agencies.

Maintains the 5-year duration for the exemption after a petitioner's written request, after which the information becomes public record.

Applies the exemption to an automated notification system that alerts petitioners within 12 hours when injunctions are served on respondents.

Takes effect October 1, 2018.
