Amends section 68.083, Florida Statutes to make permanent the exemption from public records requirements for complaints and information held by the Department of Legal Affairs during investigations of violations of the Florida False Claims Act.

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2018 that was established under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Maintains the confidential and exempt status of investigation materials from public disclosure under Florida's public records law and state constitutional requirements.

Takes effect October 1, 2018.
