Creates the "Economic Redemption and Restoration of Constitutional Rights Act," allowing persons with criminal convictions to petition circuit court for relief from legal disabilities, including suspension of constitutional and civil rights

Petitioners must file in the county of residence or conviction, provide documentation of convictions and sentences, and demonstrate completion of all court-imposed sanctions

Courts must grant relief if the petitioner has led a law-abiding life since release, poses no danger to public safety, and relief is not contrary to public interest

Denied petitioners must wait 1 year before filing a new petition and may seek de novo judicial review in district court of appeal

Does not apply to sexual predator or sexual offender registration requirements; effective date July 1, 2019
