Extends Medicaid eligibility to adults described in 42 U.S.C. s. 1396a(a)(10)(A)(i)(VIII) of the Social Security Act, which refers to the Affordable Care Act's Medicaid expansion population (adults under age 65 with incomes up to 138% of the federal poverty level)

Amends Florida Statute 409.904 by adding a new subsection (12) to authorize optional Medicaid payments for this expanded adult population

Payment for newly eligible individuals remains subject to available funding and limitations established by the General Appropriations Act or chapter 216

Effective date of July 1, 2019
